Siyabulela is an environmentalist at heart and a green entrepreneur who has been in the horticultural industry since 2004. He runs his own Nursery called Nguni Nursery based in Cape Town South Africa. The main aim of his production nursery is to produce and make high quality plant and tree saplings accessible and affordable to organisations that work on land restoration, greening projects and the horticultural industry. He is passionate about professionally growing trees and plants in large volumes to help scale up African restoration goals.

Siya is also the co-founder of Township Farmers SA, a community organization that creates smallscale organic farms and environmental awareness in disadvantaged areas. Township farmers have an initiative called “The Running Tree campaign” where Siya and other volunteers run marathons with trees strapped to their backs to raise awareness on environmental and climate change issues.

Siyabulela is one of 5 AFR100 youth ambassadors in the continent.
