The objective at this event was to delve deeper into the science of the main theme of
``Deforestation, Disruption and Pandemics.`` It bought together scientists, community leaders and indigenous knowledge experts, to explore how diverse knowledge systems are invaluable for building resilience in society.

Webinar 3: A Bridge to the Future: Royal Houses & Youth Leaders Restoring Landscapes

The event featured the NAWE Landscape Ambassadors, HRH the Queen of the Buganda Kingdom in Uganda and HRH The Prince of Monaco, who shared about their conservation initiatives and the NAWE Youth Leaders, the Landscape Guardians promoting the “Adopt a Landscape” campaign. This event highlighted the need for intergenerational dialogue to empower young environmental advocates, who are passionate about helping communities to realize the future they want.
